Definition

The Postcolonial turn manages to dissects colonial biases in anthropology without being to negative and extreme in doing so. Authors of postcolonial turn are still critical but maintain to see value in certain ways of thinking. The authors seek to find ways of positive trends in anthropology to investigate colonialism and explain the post-colonial turn towards a more balanced future. This combined with a strong link with the African continent and its cultures gives refreshing ideas and perspectives of ways of thinking.
