Zygmunt Bouman was born in Poland and also studied there. He was born a jew and he fled to England in 1971 due to a Anti-Semitic campaign. He was important for the development of post-modernism. He wrote multiple postmodern books such as Intimations of Postmodernity and Postmodern Ethics.
