Rating (from 0-10, 10 being the highest, and 6 being just sufficient)

1. Relevance. Rating: (8/10) Comments: Humanistic geography is an approach in Human Geography that for sure is relevant to the course of Spatial Action. Many thinkers of the humanistic geography take place in this course, like Anne Buttimer, Paul Vidal de la Blache, Yi-Fu Tuan and others.

2. Well-written. Rating: (7/10) Comments: The page is well written, there are no grammatical faults and the writing is of a professional standard. Also the page neglects no major facts or details and it is placed in context.

3. Well-researched: Factually accurate and verifiable. Rating: (8/10) Comments: The page provides references information of 5 books which are referred as following the APA guidelines. The page also provides in-line citations with page number from different sources. Besides this, direct quotations are marked also following the APA guidelines. One little thing is that in the first part some text is referred to a personal communication which I can’t find in the references.

4. Broad in its coverage. Rating: (8/10) Comments: The page addresses the main aspects of humanistic geography. First a general part is written and after that the page consists a part with people who are associated with humanistic geography. The page stays focused on the topic and there are no unnecessary details on it.

5. Neutral: it represents viewpoints fairly and without bias, giving due weight to each. Rating: (8/10) Comments: The page is written in a neutral way and the authors don’t criticize the concept of life world and the thoughts of the researchers.

6. Stable: it does not change significantly from day to day because of an ongoing edit war or content dispute. Rating: (6/10) Comments: The page isn’t that stable. The page has been edited six times after it has been published, so when the page was published, it wasn’t complete. A lot of things were added later by other people.

7. Well-structured. Rating: (7/10) Comments: The page has a good lead section with an overview of the concept life world and the reader is prepared for geographical linkages in the second part of the page. The page includes an appropriate structure which is correct and not overwhelming. The only thing that is missing is that the page isn’t categorized yet. I don’t know if you have to categorize humanistic geography, but maybe you can add it to human geography.

8. Illustrated: if possible, by images, maps, schematic overviews. Rating: not possible. Comments: There are no illustrations on this page, so there is no rating possible.

9. Length: It stays focused on the main topic without going into unnecessary detail and uses summary style. Rating: (7/10) Comments: The length of the page is good. It stays focused on the main topic and there are no unnecessary details. Only the first part is maybe a bit long, but the text is written in summary style so you keep concentrated.
