Dialectics

Dialectics was a new approach in spatial analysis. Not only did space and political organization of space express social relationships, but they also reacted back at them. ‘’Industrialization once the producer of urbanism, is now being produced by it.’’(Soja, 1980). In the period this dialect view became more and more influential, the main issues for society started to change. First it was all about economic growth and industrialization, but more and more the urban problematics would become more important. This approach reduced the influence of spatial structure on human behaviour and increases the influence of social processes on the spatial structure.
