Life-world

"life-world" ( or "Lebenswelt", in German) is a concept in phenomenology, that talks of the world as immediately experienced in the everyday. It refers to the subjective experience of individuals of the world. According to this concept, we see a field of experience from which we select our objects rather than "see"ing objects through common sense or objective knowledge (Campbell, 1981, pp.199).
